New ROM Hack (and some news)

Hi guys, no time no see, huh? Well, I gonna work on my new ROM Hack called PokéBound. The ideas for this was:

  • Base: Pokémon Emerald, Pokémon HeartGold (expansion)
  • Platform: GBA, NDS
  • Title: PokéBound (Project PKMN-EB)
Plot:
It was a snowy day on the day of Christmas of 1998, Ness receives a Pikachu Game Boy Color and a little game called Pokémon Yellow, that dream he had when he watched the anime all day, watching Ash and Pikachu. Meanwhile, Dr. Andonauts developed a new invention that allow humans to enter the other dimension. But suddenly, it was stolen by a unknown person, it was impossible to find him anywhere on Onett, it was still a mystery. Until, one night, a bunch of monsters entered the Mother dimension, and floods over the whole Eagleland. They didn't knew who was the mastermind of the plan. Ness and his friends will discover and investigate this phenomenon on Eagleland once for all again via using monsters in a battle. But they didn't knew in the first sight, the monsters are actually Pocket Monsters, or just Pokémon.

  • Mother 3 battle system (with HP meter on enemies)
  • New ways of evolution: Genetical evolution and Chimera evolution
  • X transceiver function so don't worry about finding a nearby telephone
  • Save frogs are everywhere, even in Pokémon centers
  • Expanded world
  • Mother 3 soundfont in familiar songs
  • PSI moves
  • New "Trainer" and "PSI" function on the menu
  • Revamped textboxes, battle screen, battle menu
  • Mother 3 graphics
  • Expansion of the Chimera concept
  • A recurring new villain
  • A mini game
  • AAAAAAAND Pikachu gains fat (I mean the chubby Pikachu returns)
  • Available in Spanish (translators needed) and English
  • Switch your Pokémon to your party's Pokémon
  • Time travel
Features on the NDS expansion:

  • Enhanced graphics (16bit 3D Mother 3 sprites)
  • Fully-featured X transceiver
  • You can switch to first person or just display your character's back sprite
  • Additional Fakemons and Gen 8 ones
  • You can fuse Pokémon in Fused Evolution
  • High quality music, directly from EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings OSTs
  • Repel system
  • New intro
Evolution descriptions:

  1. Genetical - The normal evolution
  2. Chimera - Fusing any metal object, spare part or items that can be used to a Pokémon
  3. Fused 1 - Fusing Pokémon of the same type (Like fusing a Fairy type to a Fairy type)
  4. Fused 2 - Fusing any Pokémon (Like fusing a Rattata to a Blastoise)
  5. Multi Fusion - Fusing 3 to 5 Pokémon together (due to limitations)
